Mazkur maqolada mustaqillik davri o‘zbek dramaturgiyasidagi asosiy nazariy muammolar tahlil qilingan. So‘nggi yillarda dramatatik asarlarda ko‘tarilgan mavzu ko‘lamdorligi, jahon dramaturgiyasidagi rivojalnish, xususan, ingliz, ispan, frantsuz, nemis dramturgiyasidagi yangilaninshlar o‘rganilgan hamda o‘zbek dramaturgiyasiga qiyoslangan.
