Ushbu maqolada amerikalik yozuvchi Jon Grinning “Yulduzlar aybdor” romani tarjimalarida mavzuga oid markerlangan leksikaning semantik-pragmatik xususiyatlari tadqiq etiladi. Rus va o‘zbek tillariga qilingan tarjimalarda ekzistensial metaforalar, qora yumor hamda sotsiolektning qayta yaratilishi qiyosiy-chog‘ishtirma asosda tahlil qilinadi. Shuningdek, semantik va kommunikativ tarjima strategiyalarining badiiy asar mazmuni, pragmatik ta’siri va muallif uslubini qayta yaratishdagi samaradorligi ilmiy jihatdan asoslab beriladi.
