Mazkur maqolada ijtimoiy avlodlar konsepsiyasining zamonaviy yoshlar tadqiqotlaridagi nazariy ahamiyati Karl Mannxaymning avlodlar sotsiologiyasi asosida tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda avlodlarning shakllanishi tarixiy o‘zgarishlar, ijtimoiy tengsizlik, madaniy amaliyotlar va avlodlararo munosabatlar bilan bog‘liq holda yoritiladi. Uy-joy, bandlik, iqtisodiy beqarorlik hamda oilaviy moliyaviy aloqalarga oid ilmiy qarashlar qiyosiy tahlil qilinib, yoshlarning hayotiy yo‘nalishlari turli ijtimoiy sharoitlarda shakllanishi asoslanadi. Natijada ijtimoiy avlodlarni bir xil xususiyatlarga ega yosh guruhlari sifatida emas, balki tarixiy jarayonlar va ijtimoiy tafovutlar ta’sirida shakllanuvchi murakkab munosabatlar tizimi sifatida o‘rganish zarurligi ta’kidlanadi.
