Ushbu maqolada Kazuo Ishiguroning “Kunning qoldiqlari” (1989) romanidagi Miss Kentonning kasbiy identifikatsiyasi va ayol mustaqilligi masalalari tahlil qilinadi. Matn va obrazlar tahlili orqali uning kasbiy mahorati, axloqiy mustaqilligi hamda ijtimoiy tabaqalanish va gender cheklovlari sharoitidagi shaxsiy tanlovlari o‘rganiladi.
