Ushbu ilmiy maqolada Qur’on qiroati tilshunoslikning zamonaviy yo‘nalishlari hamda fonetik tadqiqotlar nuqtayi nazaridan yoritilgan. Tadqiqot davomida Qur’on qiroatidagi tovushlarning artikulyatsiyasi, maxraj va sifat al-huruf xususiyatlari, madd hodisasi hamda tovush davomiyligi zamonaviy artikulyatsion va akustik fonetika yondashuvlari asosida tahlil qilingan. Shuningdek, vaqf va ibtido, intonatsiya, ritm kabi prosodik xususiyatlarning qiroatning fonetik va mazmuniy tashkil etilishidagi o‘rni ko‘rib chiqilib, an’anaviy tajvid va qiroat tavsiflarini zamonaviy lingvistik terminlar hamda akustik tahlil vositalari yordamida ifodalash imkoniyatlari yoritilgan. Tadqiqot natijalari Qur’on qiroatini fonetik, fonologik va prosodik jihatlarning o‘zaro bog‘liqligi namoyon bo‘ladigan murakkab lingvistik hodisa sifatida o‘rganish mumkinligini ko‘rsatadi.
