This article analyzes the use of the education system by the Russian Empire in the Russification policy of Finland and Turkestan, which were transformed into colonies. It examines how public education was used as a tool for socio-cultural transformation of local populations in line with imperial interests. The study also highlights the role of educational policy in the strategy of Russification and its impact on local societies.
