THE MODE OF AN AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL WORK

This article examines autobiographical writing as a specific form of artistic thinking in which the author’s personal experience is intertwined with historical time, memory, and the genre structure of the text. It argues that autobiographical texts are not merely a presentation of biographical facts but an aesthetically constructed model of self-knowledge and self-representation. The study analyzes genre features, the poetics of memory, the relationship between documentary and artistic elements, and the role of the autobiographical mode in revealing creative individuality.
