ZOONYMS IN ISAJON SULTON’S WORKS

Since the inception of literature, animal imagery has coexisted alongside literary characters within creative works. In such writings, animals like the wolf, dog, tortoise, and others are interpreted in various ways. While folklore often depicts the wolf as a symbol of good fortune, in fairy tales, it is frequently presented as an embodiment of bloodthirstiness. Similarly, the image of the dog has been interpreted through diverse lenses across numerous genres to this day. Isajon Sulton effectively utilizes these images, which are widely employed in both prose and poetry. This article discusses the role and application of animal imagery in Isajon Sulton’s works, as well as the meanings expressed through them.
