This article explores the mechanisms of human cognition and their purposeful linguistic creativity. The authors argue that the foundation of this research is verbal and nonverbal language, which is determined by the speaker’s speech and ensures its expressiveness. The study of emotions is manifested in the interdisciplinary nature of the process of identifying and expressing emotions. It is noted that research into emotional expression reveals the ethnocultural characteristics of various languages and cultures and contributes to the development of an important interdisciplinary field in modern linguistics.
