Keywords:
active processes, modern Russian language, Anglicisms, jargonization, teaching methods in higher education, critical thinking, linguistic norm.Abstract
The article examines the dynamic changes in the lexical system of the modern Russian language at the turn of the first and second quarters of the 21st century. Particular attention is paid to the processes of borrowing, determinologization, and jargonization of public speech. The author substantiates the need to introduce methods of critical analysis of linguistic material in philological classes at the university. The paper suggests methodological approaches to the formation of a "linguistic filter" in students, which allows them to distinguish between justified innovations and excessive clogging of speech.
