This article analyzes the linguistic features of a dramatic text based on the concept of the replica. The study examines the interrelation of structural elements such as monologue, dialogue, and remark, substantiating the central role of the replica in dialogic speech. The replica is interpreted as a syntactic, semantic, pragmatic, and discursive unit, and its communicative functions and role in shaping dramatic action are revealed. In addition, the scientific description of stimulus and reactive replicas is presented within the framework of speech act theory. The results of the study contribute to the development of dramatic text linguistics and dialogue analysis.
