POETIC DEPICTION OF NATIONALITY IN HAMID OLIMJON'S BALLAD "RAKSANA'S TEARS"

The article analyzes the poetic mechanisms of representing national identity in Hamid Olimjon’s ballad “Raksana’s Tears” (1944). The study examines how national specificity is conveyed through spatial imagery (Shahrixon), ritual and belief elements, folk vocabulary, the social psychology of the mahalla, the system of characters, and symbolic details (bundle, soil, dawn). The research is based on close reading, semantic-rhythmic analysis, and a cultural-contextual approach.
