A NEW STAGE OF REFORMS IN THE PUBLIC EDUCATION SECTOR

This article analyzes the new stage of reforms implemented in the field of school education in Uzbekistan, their essence, and priority directions. In particular, special attention is paid to the modernization of schools during this period, the improvement of textbooks, the enhancement of teachers’ professional capacity, and the introduction of modern pedagogical technologies and information and communication systems into the educational process.
