ON THE ISSUE OF THE ARTISTIC IMAGE IN SHAMANIC INCANTATIONS

This article examines the system of images found in shamanic invocations, one of the most popular genres of shamanic ritual folklore. The study analyzes how a shaman calls upon mythological patrons during ritual performance through motifs of worship and praise. In shamanic rituals, the shaman acts as an intermediary between the earthly and supernatural worlds. The active participation of mythological patrons is illustrated through invocation texts from the repertoire of Uzbek and Altai shamans.
