Abstract

The article analyzes the system of artistic images in Vladislav Krapivin's cycle "Fairy Tales and there were deserted spaces". The typology of characters is investigated, including the image of a teenage hero, the figure of a guide, guardians of space, the collective image of friendship and antagonistic figures. Special attention is paid to the chronotope of deserted spaces, the symbolism of the road and the moral issues of the works. Based on the material of the novels "The Pilot" and "The Plane named Serezha", it is shown that the character system forms a special model of the world, where the child's consciousness acts as a carrier of moral responsibility and the ability to resist indifference.
