TOURISM AND SOVIET IDEOLOGY (IN THE EXAMPLE OF BUKHARA PROVINCE)

This article analyzes the ideological significance of tourism in the Bukhara region during the Soviet era and its impact on society. It is highlighted that the Soviet socialist idea used tourism not only as a means of recreation, but also as a means of political and ideological education. The article examines the process of formation of the Soviet socialist idea in foreign citizens through the specific program of travel routes to Bukhara. Also, the activities of tourism organizations, their role in promotion and their connection with state policy are analyzed. As a result of the research, it is justified that the tourism system was one of the mechanisms of ideological control and social education during the Soviet period.
