This article provides a comprehensive semantic analysis of introductory words employed in the works of Tohir Malik. In particular, it elucidates their functional-semantic properties in discourse, identifies their affiliation with specific semantic categories, and carries out a comparative differentiation of these units. On this basis, a classification of introductory words is developed, and their role and significance in literary texts are thoroughly examined.
