LINGUISTIC AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF NUMERICAL COMPONENTS IN UZBEK FOLK PROVERBS

This article analyzes the linguistic and statistical characteristics of numerical components in Uzbek folk proverbs. The study examines numbers not only as quantitative units but also as semantic, stylistic, and linguocultural elements. The most frequently occurring numerical units in Uzbek proverbs are identified, and their role in creating figurativeness as well as their connection with folk thinking is analyzed. The results of the statistical analysis demonstrate that certain numbers occur with high frequency in proverbs, which confirms their significant role in the system of cultural values and the worldview of the people.
