THE ROLE OF A COMPLEX APPROACH TO ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION IN THE EDUCATIONAL NOVEL

This article presents general reflections of the literary scholar and academician Naim Karimov on enlightenment novels. The enlightenment-biographical novel “Hamid Olimjon” is subjected to a comprehensive analysis. The novel is examined from the perspectives of plot, theme and thematic scope, character and imagery, style, and artistic language. By analyzing the language of the work, an evaluation of the author’s subjective position is provided.
