Abstract

This article provides information about the life and scientific activities of Ali Kushchi, a disciple of Mirzo Ulugbek, who was honored as the “Ptolemy of his time”, the origin of his name “Kushchi’, the information contained in his works, his scientific and diplomatic trips, his relations with Sultan Mehmet II the Conqueror, and the current recognition of the scholar's legacy.
