Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the prescriptive type of directive speech acts and their discursive-functional features. It examines forms of prescriptives such as commands, instructions, permissions, prohibitions, requests, and demands, focusing on their discursive functions. The study identifies how these units perform communicative purposes in different contexts.
