Abstract

This small research paper presents a complete socio-philosophical, political analysis of the peace project "Letter in Support of Humanity" by Johann Gottfried Herder, one of the followers of the great German Philosopher I. Kant, with an emphasis on the philosophical foundation and anthropological aspects of history. The article describes I. Herder's historical account of the brutal treatment of the Delaware by the Iroquois, the indigenous people who inhabited the American territories, as the "Iroquois Experience." He also describes the Delaware being declared the "Daughters of Peace" and their complete disarmament as a result of this instruction. Both the Iroquois and the Delaware are considered to be the original Indian tribes of America in history. At the same time, in this work, I. Herder's own project "The Daughter of Peace" is presented and its philosophical essence is revealed.
