CLASSIFICATION OF INTERNATIONAL TESTS ASSESSING ENGLISH LANGUAGE COMPETENCIES

This article analyzes international testing systems used to assess English language proficiency and provides their classification. The study examines major international tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge Assessment English exams, and other assessment systems, comparing their structure, evaluation criteria, and areas of application. Furthermore, the effectiveness of these tests in measuring communicative competence is discussed.
