Mazkur maqolada Boxtar satrapligi tarixshunosligi doirasida Turonning Ahamoniylar hukmronligi davridagi (miloddan avvalgi VI–IV asrlar) tarixiga oid xorijiy va mahalliy ilmiy tadqiqotlar tahlil qilingan. J. Naveh, Sh. Shaked, I. V. Pyankov, Yu. S. Kuxarchik, B. Yakobs, A. M. Malikov, K. Kleber, R. R. King, R. Bixler, S. Myuller, A. K. Nefyodkin va M. Ferrario kabi olimlarning ilmiy ishlari asosida Boxtar satrapligining shaharsozligi, hunarmandchiligi va me’morchilik madaniyatiga oid tarixiy hamda arxeologik ma’lumotlar yoritilgan. Tadqiqotda mazkur yo‘nalishdagi tarixshunoslikning asosiy yondashuvlari va ilmiy qarashlari tahlil etilgan.
