SEMANTIC AND ETYMOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF ECOLOGICAL TERMINOLOGY IN RUSSIAN AND UZBEK LANGUAGES

The article examines the semantic and etymological features of ecological terminology in the Russian and Uzbek languages. The relevance of the study is обусловлена the growing importance of ecological discourse in the context of global environmental challenges and the need for adequate representation of scientific concepts in national languages. The aim of the research is to identify the patterns of formation, semantic development, and etymological structure of ecological terms. The study employs comparative, etymological, semantic, and contextual analysis methods. The scientific novelty lies in a comprehensive approach to studying terminology in two languages, taking into account their historical and cultural specifics and analyzing real publicistic sources.
