METHODOLOGY FOR THE FORMATION OF RECEPTIVE VOCABULARY BASED ON RUSSIAN-LANGUAGE PODCASTS

The article examines a methodology for developing receptive vocabulary in learners of Russian as a foreign language through Russian-language podcasts. It substantiates the didactic value of podcasts as a source of authentic audio input, identifies criteria for selecting materials, and outlines stages of work and a system of exercises. Special attention is given to listening, lexical clarification, repeated exposure, and transcript-supported practice aimed at comprehension, vocabulary growth, and learner autonomy.
