A COMPARATIVE LEXICAL-SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF RUSSIAN AND KARAKALPAK FOLK PROVERBS

This study presents a comparative lexical-semantic analysis of Russian and Karakalpak folk proverbs. The research focuses on identifying similarities and differences in semantics, structure, and cultural specificity. Proverbs reflect the worldview, traditions, and historical experience of a people. The findings show that despite linguistic differences, many proverbs share universal meanings related to morality, labor, family, and nature. The study contributes to comparative linguistics and intercultural communication.
