This article scientifically analyzes the content and essence of the concept of artistic-creative ability as well as its pedagogical and psychological foundations. In the modern education system, the development of aesthetic thinking, imagination, creative activity, and individual potential is considered one of the most important tasks. From this perspective, artistic-creative ability serves as an important factor not only in shaping students’ interest in art, but also in developing their independent thinking, emotional perception, figurative thinking, and ability to generate new ideas. The article discusses the structural components of artistic-creative ability, the forms of its manifestation, the factors influencing its development, and its role in the pedagogical process. In addition, the importance of psychological characteristics, motivation, interest, creative environment, and teaching methods in the formation of this ability is substantiated. The findings indicate that the development of artistic-creative ability is an important condition for personal growth and self-realization.
