THE ROLE OF ONOMATOPOEIC WORDS IN VOCABULARY DEVELOPMENT

This article explores the significance of utilizing imitative words as a tool for enhancing the lexical repertoire of students. Furthermore, it presents pedagogical methods and instructional tasks developed based on the findings of scientific research and empirical experiments conducted in this field. The results of the study highlight the high efficiency of employing imitative units in advancing students’ speech development and augmenting the expressive coloring and stylistic nuance of their verbal communication.
