THE INFLUENCE OF JACK LONDON’S CREATIVE HERITAGE ON MODERN LITERATURE

This article examines the influence of Jack London’s literary heritage on the development of modern literature. As one of the most prominent representatives of American realism and naturalism at the beginning of the twentieth century, Jack London introduced new artistic approaches to depicting human existence, social injustice, and the relationship between humanity and nature. The study analyzes London’s contribution to the evolution of realism, adventure fiction, social criticism, and environmental consciousness. Particular attention is paid to such works as The Call of the Wild, White Fang, Martin Eden, and The Iron Heel, which remain relevant in contemporary literary discourse. The article argues that Jack London’s creative principles continue to inspire modern writers and shape thematic and stylistic trends in world literature.
