METHODOLOGICAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPING SPATIAL REPRESENTATIONS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

The article analyzes the theoretical and practical foundations of developing spatial imagination in primary school students, as well as both foreign and national experiences. Spatial thinking is considered a key component of 21st-century education, contributing to the development of students’ creative and logical thinking. International practices implement strategies for developing spatial skills through specialized trainings, integrated teaching, and digital technologies. In Uzbekistan, primary education also incorporates spatial thinking elements through mathematics, visual arts, and technology lessons. Furthermore, the pedagogical preparedness of teachers and the availability of digital resources are analyzed as critical factors. The findings help identify effective approaches for embedding spatial thinking elements into the educational process.
