Abstract

This article explores the pedagogical foundations of organizing students’ project-based activities using automated design systems (ADS). The study analyzes the didactic potential of ADS in higher education, their role in developing professional competencies, and their effectiveness in enhancing students’ practical skills. The results of the experimental study demonstrate that the use of automated design systems significantly improves students’ project thinking, practical abilities, and overall professional preparedness. The findings contribute to the modernization of engineering education through the integration of digital technologies.
