DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ GRAPHIC COMPETENCE IN DRAWING LESSONS BASED ON INTEGRATIVE EDUCATION

Abstract

This article examines the issues of developing students’ graphic competence in technical drawing lessons based on an integrative educational approach. In the study, a methodology for designing and implementing lessons was developed through the integration of technical drawing with mathematics, physics, technology, and computer graphics. The integrative approach is analyzed as an important factor in developing students’ spatial thinking, graphic imagination, and skills in reading and creating technical drawings. The results of experimental work demonstrate that technical drawing lessons organized on the basis of integrative education are more effective in developing students’ graphic competence compared to traditional teaching methods.
