Abstract

This article presents a methodology for organizing integrative activities aimed at improving students’ mathematical literacy based on the “4K” model (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication). The study analyzes the effectiveness of using interdisciplinary integration in primary school mathematics lessons, real-life context-based tasks, problem-solving activities, and project-based learning. In addition, the paper reveals opportunities to develop learners’ independent thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and clear self-expression by fostering the 4K competencies within mathematics education. The findings of the study are intended to support the development of methodological recommendations for enhancing mathematical literacy in primary education.
