CHARACTERISTICS OF PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT AND FUNCTIONAL STATUS OF FEMALE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS PRACTICING FITNESS AEROBICS DURING THE TRAINING PROCESS

Abstract

This article examines the characteristics of physical development and functional status of female university students who regularly practice fitness aerobics during the training process. The analysis focuses on anthropometric indicators (height, body mass, BMI, body composition), key components of physical fitness (endurance, speed-strength abilities, flexibility, coordination), and functional markers (heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory indicators, and post-exercise recovery rate). The paper highlights the diagnostic value of the rhythmic and dynamic nature of fitness aerobics for evaluating aerobic capacity, overall work capacity, and adaptation responses. Methodological guidelines are proposed for individualizing training loads, optimizing session structure, and enhancing health-oriented outcomes based on students’ functional reserves.
