THE ROLE OF INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS IN DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES

This article deals with the issues based on analyzing the role of international standards in developing the professional competence of upper secondary school students in English language classes. In the modern educational context, foreign language instruction aims not only at developing linguistic skills but also at preparing students for future professional communication in a globalized environment. International frameworks such as the CEFR provide clear guidelines for integrating professional and communicative competencies into language teaching. Special attention is given to the development of students’ professional communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to use English in real-life and career-related situations.
