GENRE FEATURES OF ABDULLA QODIRIY’S PROSE AND THE FORMATION OF UZBEK NOVEL WRITING

This article provides a scientific analysis of the role of the works of Abdulla Qodiriy, one of the prominent representatives of Uzbek literature, in the development of national literature. It demonstrates that the writer’s artistic and journalistic heritage, particularly his novels, short stories, essays, dramas, and satirical works, played a significant role in elevating Uzbek literature to a new stage of development. The article also examines Abdulla Qodiriy’s journalistic activities, his publications in the press, and the reflection of the socio-cultural environment of the period in his satirical writings. Through the analysis of the writer’s novels “O‘tkan kunlar” and “Mehrobdan chayon”, as well as other literary works, the article highlights his artistic mastery, his role in shaping the national school of Uzbek novel writing, and his influence on the literary process. The results of the study indicate that Abdulla Qodiriy’s creative legacy represents an important stage in the development of Uzbek literature and has made a significant contribution to the growth of national artistic thinking.
