THE STATE OF SCIENCE AND EDUCATION IN BUKHARA IN THE 1930S–1940S AND THE POLICY OF REPRESSION

This article examines the state of science and education in Bukhara during the 1930s and 1940s and analyzes the impact of the repression policy on their development. It highlights the activities of educational institutions, the scientific environment, and the role of intellectuals and teachers in society. Special attention is given to the consequences of the repression policy, during which many representatives of science and enlightenment were persecuted. Based on historical sources, the study analyzes the impact of these processes on the development of science and education in the region.
