STAGES OF DEVELOPING SPEAKING SKILLS IN THE UZBEK LANGUAGE IN RUSSIAN-MEDIUM CLASSES

This article analyzes the issues of developing students’ speaking skills in the Uzbek language in Russian-medium classes. It highlights the importance of the communicative approach in teaching Uzbek as a second language, discusses types of language skills, and describes the methodology of step-by-step development of speaking competence. The study proposes a pedagogical model aimed at improving students’ oral speech, organizing the learning process based on motivational, cognitive, practical, and reflective stages. It also substantiates methods for enhancing students’ speech activity through learning tasks, interactive techniques, and communicative exercises.
