METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ CREATIVE IMAGINATION IN PRIMARY SCHOOL NATIVE LANGUAGE LESSONS

Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of developing students’ creative imagination in 3rd-grade native language lessons. It highlights the importance of fostering imagination, independent thinking, and creative approaches in primary education. The study discusses systems of questions and tasks, text-based activities, creative writing, and interactive methods as means of activating students’ cognitive processes. It also substantiates the need for appropriate selection of teaching methods and consideration of students’ age characteristics to improve lesson effectiveness. The findings show that effective use of creative tasks enhances students’ imagination and improves the quality of education.
