THE PSYCHOLOGICAL CONTENT OF THE CONCEPT OF PROFESSIONAL BURNOUT AND ITS SCIENTIFIC INTERPRETATIONS

This article analyzes the psychological content of the concept of professional burnout, its interpretation in the scientific literature, and the main theoretical approaches to the study of this phenomenon. The impact of professional burnout on an individual’s emotional state, professional performance, and social relationships is highlighted. The main components of professional burnout, such as emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment, are also characterized. The article comparatively examines the scientific views of foreign and local scholars on this problem and reveals the place of this concept in modern psychology. The study substantiates that professional burnout is a complex psychological phenomenon, and its in-depth study is of great importance for improving the effectiveness of professional activity.
