TACTICS OF SPEECH THERAPY WORK WITH PATIENTS WITH APHASIA

In this article, the tactics of speech therapy work in the rehabilitation of patients with a neurodegenerative profile suffering from primary progressive aphasia, which is new for the direction of speech therapy in our country, and the speech therapist of a neurological hospital in their practical activities has to deal with both vascular diseases and NDD, patients without focal cerebral symptoms are often encountered, but the observation of aphasia (systemic speech disorders), the problem of determining the nature of speech disorders, presents a particular difficulty, since often the patient and their relatives contact the speech therapist about memory decline, forgetfulness of low-frequency words or proper nouns, but they pay attention to the occurrence of speech disorders.
