Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations and practical significance of liberal ideas in the development of New Uzbekistan. It highlights the role of such liberal values as human rights, the rule of law, civil society, freedom of economic activity, social justice, and individual liberty in the modernization of the country. The study substantiates the importance of liberal ideas in democratic reforms, transparency of public administration, development of market relations, and increasing citizens’ socio-political participation. It is also emphasized that, in the context of New Uzbekistan, liberal approaches are manifested in harmony with national values, social stability, and the national development strategy.
