Abstract

This article analyzes the legal and institutional mechanisms that limit the participation of women in the judiciary. The research examines direct and indirect restrictions within the legal and regulatory framework, imbalances in the appointment system, the "glass ceiling" phenomenon, and factors related to institutional culture. Based on international experience and norms of international law, proposals for ensuring gender equality are developed.
