Abstract

This article examines literary irony as a means of expressing authorial stance in the prose of Abdulla Qodiriy and Jane Austen. Through comparative analysis, it reveals irony as a key poetic strategy reflecting aesthetic, social, and ethical views shaped by national mentality and distinct literary traditions.
