PRAGMATIC FEATURES OF PAREMIOLOGICAL UNITS USED IN WRITTEN SOURCES OF THE JADID PERIOD

This article examines the socio-educational function of the Uzbek literary language during the Jadid period and the pragmatic potential of paremiological units. Based on the works of Abdulla Avloniy, a prominent representative of the Jadid movement, the study highlights the role of proverbs, sayings, aphorisms, and folk expressions in strengthening the ideological and semantic structure of texts. The research demonstrates how paremiological units ensure continuity between written literary tradition and oral folklore.
