THE STUDY OF THE IDENTITY OF CENTRAL ASIAN ARABS

This article examines the dynamics of identity among Arab communities in Central Asia and explores their cultural, religious, and social dimensions. The study is based on historical sources, field research, and interviews, analyzing how the Arabic language, traditions, confessional practices, and ethnic self-identification have developed over time. The article discusses identity transformations influenced by Soviet and post-Soviet integration policies, migration processes, and globalization. It also examines differences between younger generations and local Muslim communities, strategies for preserving language and culture, and factors influencing social status within the community. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of ethnic and religious relations in Central Asia and provide practical recommendations for policy development and local development programs.
