PROTECTED NATURAL AREAS OF KHOREZM REGION AND THEIR TOURISM SIGNIFICANCE

This article analyzes the ecological, scientific, and tourism significance of specially protected natural areas located within the Khorezm region. The study examines the role of nature reserves, wildlife sanctuaries, and other protected areas of the region in the conservation of biodiversity, as well as their potential for the development of sustainable tourism. In particular, special attention is given to the unique ecosystem of the Amu Darya delta, its flora and fauna, and the prospects for the development of ecotourism in this region.
