THE MORAL-ETHICAL PORTRAIT OF THE ADOLESCENT PROTAGONIST IN CONTEMPORARY PROSE AND THE EVOLUTION OF ARTISTIC DEPICTION TOOLS

Abstract

This article investigates the artistic tools used to construct the moral-ethical portrait of the adolescent protagonist in contemporary Uzbek prose, tracing their evolution across literary periods. The representation of the adolescent figure through psychological analysis, interior monologue, and symbolic imagery in prose works of the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries is examined. The article also addresses the influence of social environment, family, and peer groups on the moral formation of adolescent characters and explores how these influences are rendered in literary texts. Works by Nazar Eshonqul, Isajon Sulton, and other contemporary authors serve as the primary objects of analysis.
