This article explores the translation of Uzbek classical literary works into English, interpreting translation as a refined form of art and a significant school of professional mastery for translators. The study focuses on the challenges of rendering national and cultural identity, poetic imagery, symbolism, and stylistic features of classical texts in the target language. Particular attention is paid to issues of equivalence, adequacy, semantic accuracy, and the preservation of aesthetic value in literary translation.
